'The Iron Bridge' is an epic poem, set in a fishing town and holiday resort on the most easterly point of England.  The poem passes through different periods, superimposing various characters on the landscapes of the town's history.  set entirely in the present tense, it takes the leader reader on a magical voyage exploring themes of childhood, war, death and love through the lives of the local people...... it crosses the bridge of imagination finding wonder in the mundane and splendour in the familiar. ironbridge@uk2.net
