The British and Foreign Bible Society; 1955, second impression. Published to commemorate the Third Jubilee of the British and Foreign Bible Society 1804-1954. Hardcover with dust cover.  Dust cover is unclipped and has wear to extremities. A tear to top front, wear to top and bottom of spine and a small mark to the bottom of spine. The book has blue boards with gilt lettering to spine and is in very good condition. Patterned end papers. The ffep is tanned and has the lettering "Published to commemorate the Third Jubilee of the British and Foreign Bible Society 1804-1954" stamped to the middle. Small black sticker to base of first paste down from previous bookshop. No other owner marks. Drawings by Horace Knowles. Blue ribbon marker. Binding tight and text clean. A rare to find copy of this bible with its original dust cover.  Preowned. No ISBN.
