George Bell & Sons; London, 1903. First edition. With black and white plates portraying his work, plus a colour frontispiece protected by a tissue guard. Hardcover with no dust cover. Beige/ brown cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and detailing to front and spine. Small crease to top front corner of front board. Corners bumped and rubbed as well as some wear to top and bottom of spine. Spine has darkened. Top text block edge has been gilded, whilst other edges deckled. Some minor foxing mainly to front couple and last few pages. Small previous owners name stamped to top of half title page and inside front board. Hinges are good, binding is tight. No cracking. A good copy of this book. Preowned. No ISBN.
