White end papers reinforced internal guttering as published. No previous owners names, inscriptions or book plates. Card from Cassell Co. Ltd. to outline this book was a subscription item only. Tissue guard (yellowed with age) protecting black and white frontispiece. Title page creased to bottom right. Introduction, list of illustrations to front. Beautiful black and white photographs.
