T.Nelson and Sons; 1880.  First edition. Written by "B.M." which stands for Barbara Miller MacAndrew (née Miller). She was a Scottish-born Christian devotional poet of the late 19th century. She was also the author of "Ezekiel and Other Poems". Hardcover with no dust cover. This book is bound in the publishers highly decorative green cloth  which has  black and gilt stamping on the cover and spine, with a gilt-edged text block. Corners are bumped and rubbed and top and bottom of spine show minor crushing. Covers are marked with age and rubbed in places. Dark brown end papers with previous book seller small sticker to inside front paste down. The original book seller was Frederick Golding From Minster Street Reading. Inscription in a neat hand dated 1881 to FFEP.  A tissue guard protecting a frontispiece in brunaille tones. Binding good. A good copy of this book. Preowned. No ISBN.
