Hardcover with no jacket. Corners bumped and rubbed. Minor wear to top and bottom of spine. Text block edge is gilded. Very slightly forward leaning. Green end papers. Black and white frontispiece protected by a very yellowed tissue guard. Some foxing. Inscription (which has faded) to half title page. Small stain mark to bottom of pages. Binding good.  Preowned.
