F.& E.Stoneham; Undated(c. 1893). First edition.  W. Clifton was Professor of Painting at the Royal Artillery Institution, Woolwich. Red cardboard covers stapled (staples a little rusty) with gilt lettering to front board.  Board edges have some chipping and wear. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Some minor foxing to first and last couple of pages. Binding good. A rare book to find especially in this condition. Preowned. No ISBN.
